I am an independent jewelry maker and both my inventory and my direction are continuously changing as I grow in experience and technique. If you see a design on the site that you wish to purchase, please contact me directly by email or phone and describe your choice. I will inform you what is currently available or work with you to create the piece you desire.
COPYRIGHT: The pieces on this site are my original designs and are covered by all applicable copyright laws. Some have been published. All my pieces come from the honest working out of process and attention to materials in my own workspace. But often designers come up with similar looks because we are working with many of the same materials and the same beading techniques. If any design herein infringes on previously copyrighted material, please contact me with proof..
PAYMENT: I consider every sale an individual transaction and will arrange payment accordingly. Visa and Mastercard may be available, but I am a rather seasonal business and may cancel my service during the "down" months. Pay Pal is also an option. Charges up to 20% of the original cost may apply on commisioned work. Any added cost from changes or additions to commissioned work will be passed on to the customer.
SHIPPING: Shipping will be arranged on a per sale basis and will be charged to the customer as part of the sale.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: If you receive a piece of jewelry from me and are unhappy with it, please return it within two weeks for a refund. I use the best and most appropriate materials available for each piece, but even the best materials can have a hidden weakness or flaw. If any work breaks due to a flaw in materials within a year of purchase, I will happily repair or replace it.
CARE: You may want to treat your beaded jewelry a little more like fine lace than metal. The thread base allows a flexibility and drape of the beads that wire does not, this makes it vulnerable. Store your jewelry flat, as hanging may cause some stretch. Some fibers will shrink slightly if wet, but most are nylon and will withstand a lot. In case of an accident, you can actually rinse the entire piece in tepid water (with a bit of mild soap if needed), press the water out with a soft towel and air dry.
MATERIALS: Currently I weave and string mostly on PowerPro which is a gel-spun polymer, braided line. I use 10-pound test strength, which I find the best for flexibility of the piece with a mininum risk of breakage and wear. Older pieces may have been made on Nymo or Silamide. In some cases plastic-coated steel wire is required for strength. Whenever possible I work with Sterling but base metal may be incorporated when needed. I try to indicate in my descriptions when gold, sterling, or precious metal plate is used.
